Small business SEO services: Found, and
kept found.
Small business SEO services, from one person in Milton Keynes, anywhere in the UK. I am a small business SEO consultant rather than an agency. The job is getting you found on Google and keeping you there. It usually starts with a fixed-price audit, from £400, that finds what is in the way. Then SEO every month, from £150, keeps it fixed, with the hours written on the plan. Any platform.

SEO for small business: An SEO problem
rarely says so.
It usually looks like one of these. Each one has a usual cause worth checking first, and none of them is anyone's fault.
“The new site isn’t showing on Google.”
Often a setting that asks Google to stay away while a site is being built, still switched on after launch. Like a closed sign left on the shop door. Once it is found, it is a quick fix.
Start with A one-off audit
“Traffic dropped after the new website went live.”
Usually the old page addresses were not pointed at the new ones, so Google, and anyone with a bookmark, lands on a page that is not there any more.
Start with Website migrations
“It was doing fine, then it slowly slipped.”
A redirect broke, a page dropped out of Google, a template changed. Small things, and nobody was watching for them.
Start with SEO every month
“It’s slow on phones, and nobody can say why.”
Often one heavy image at the top of every page, or scripts that built up over the years. Measured on your real pages, then fixed at the cause.

01 Which small business SEO services do I actually need?
If you are not sure what is wrong, start with the audit. If the site has had one and you want it to stay fixed, SEO every month. If a new site or a new platform is on the way, talk to me before launch rather than after.
02 What do these cost?
An audit is £400 for a quick check or £1,200 for the full audit, both fixed. Monthly SEO is £150, £450 or £900 a month, for 2, 6 or 12 hours. Migrations are £400 a day, priced in writing before anything starts, and no VAT is charged.
03 Can you guarantee a place on page one?
No. Google decides who ranks, so that is not something anyone can promise. What you get instead is the work written down: what was wrong, what I did about it, and what I think happens next.
04 How long before anything changes?
Fixes to pages Google cannot find or read can show within weeks. Anything competitive takes months. It is slow, and that is normal.
05 Do I have to take monthly SEO after an audit?
No. The audit is yours to keep, and your own developer can work from it. Monthly SEO is there if you would like someone to keep an eye on things afterwards.
06 Which platforms do you work on?
WordPress, Squarespace, Wix and Shopify. Each one has its own search settings in different places, and the audit checks the ones your platform has.
07 Do you do link building or paid ads?
No. They are their own jobs, and there are people who do them properly. I will happily point you at one.
08 Do I need an SEO company near me?
Not really, no. I am in Milton Keynes, so if you are nearby we can meet for the first conversation, and I would like that. After that it is remote work: access to your Search Console is all I need, and the site does not mind where I am sitting. Being local is a convenience rather than a requirement.
