Web developer, Milton Keynes: Websites built,
hosted and
looked after.
Hi, I'm Adam. I build websites at a fixed price, host them, and look after them every month. The domain stays in your name. One person, from the first chat to the monthly note.
Taking on projects from Q4 2026
Websites from £600 · Hosting from £50 a month · Milton Keynes
Where are you starting from?: Which one
sounds like you?
Most people get in touch with one of these in mind. Pick the one that fits and you'll see how I'd help.
I need a new website
Pick the platform your team can run and see the price before we talk. I'll build it, load your real content, and set it live with the domain in your name.
Website pricesI have a site that needs looking after
Nobody updates it, nobody knows whose card the hosting is on, or the person who built it moved on. I'll check it, move it onto my hosting and look after it.
Hosting and maintenanceNobody can find us on Google
The site looks fine, but the right people aren't finding it. A fixed-price audit shows what is in the way, and a little every month keeps it fixed.
How I would helpHow it works
Here's what
happens next.
From the first hello to the site going live, and every month after that.
-
Within
12 hours
I'll reply
Working hours, and if I'm away the site will say so.
-
Then, on
Day one
A friendly chat
30 minutes on what you have, what it needs to do, and which platform fits.
-
Within
2 days
A fixed price
In writing: the pages, the platform, the date it goes live.
-
And every
Month
A note of what was done
Hosting, updates and changes, written down next to the invoice.
It all starts with a hello.
Tell me about your project What you can buy: Built, hosted,
and looked after.
Part by part: What each one
actually includes.
Sitemap and page structure
What pages exist, how they relate, and what each one is for. This is where SEO is won or lost, before a line of code.
Design, if there is none
I will design it: a site that looks considered and does the job. If the brand underneath it needs doing too, that is its own piece of work and it has its own page.
Build
From your design or mine, on a platform that suits the team who will keep it running rather than the one I enjoy most.
Real content in
Your words and pictures loaded and laid out, not lorem ipsum with a note to fill it later. If an existing site is being replaced, moving it across is its own job: see website migration.
Accessibility and performance
Keyboard, focus order, contrast and labels checked, not assumed. Core Web Vitals measured on real pages, then fixed.
Launch and handover
A checklist worked through line by line, then documentation and a walkthrough with whoever picks it up.
Hosting and the certificate
A WordPress site on a managed host on my account, with the security certificate kept renewed, for £50 a month. The domain stays registered in your name.
Quick, wherever they are
The site sits on a managed network with hundreds of locations worldwide, and a page is served from the one nearest the person asking for it, already made rather than built while they wait.
A firewall, and watched all day
A firewall in front of the site before traffic reaches it, bots and repeated login attempts turned away, and malware scanned for in real time and patched by the host rather than emailed to you to deal with. Uptime and security monitoring too: if the site goes down, I am told straight away, and it is dealt with in working hours.
A backup every day, put back if it breaks
A fresh backup every day, and another before any update runs, so any change can be undone. If an update breaks something, the site goes back to the backup first and gets looked at second.
Updated every month
WordPress, the theme and the plugins brought up to date, then the pages that matter checked by hand.
Free handover if you leave
A month's notice after the first three months, then a full backup and help moving it, free. The domain is already yours.
Changes every month
Manage keeps 3 hours a month free for changes, Grow keeps 8. Words, photos, a new page from an existing template, a fix.
A reply within 12 working hours
What it needs and how long it will take, before any of it is started.
Any platform
WordPress, Squarespace, Wix and Shopify. On WordPress, the updates come with hosting.
A monthly call
On Grow, a call every month about what is next, and room for a small new feature most months.
A note on the 1st
What was updated, what was changed and how many hours were used, next to the invoice. Hours do not carry over.
A take-on check first
For a site I did not build, a £200 check comes first, so I know what I am looking after before I promise to. Or pay as you go at £75 an hour.
A fixed-price audit
What Google can reach, what it is ignoring and why, with the biggest issues written down in order. From £400.
Speed on real pages
Core Web Vitals measured on your own pages, with your real content, then fixed at the cause rather than the score.
Pages that link up
How your pages relate, what the structure tells Google, and which pages nothing links to.
Monthly SEO
Search Console watched, the fixes made and a note every month, from £150, with the hours on the plan. No ranking promises.
Moving without losing traffic
Every old address mapped to a new one before a new site goes live, not after the traffic has gone.
Markup that fits the page
Structured data that matches what the page really is, so search engines and AI answers read it correctly.
Sounds like you if
“The site looks fine, but the right people are not finding it.”
What a website costs
Every price on the page,
before you call.
You should not have to sit through a call to find out whether you can afford me.
Already have a website?: Start with a
take-on check.
Before I host or look after a site someone else built, I find out what state it is in. You get the findings in writing, and they are yours whether you move it to me or not.
£200Half a day, fixed price
- A backup taken before anything is touched
- Every plugin, theme and integration listed, with what is out of date
- Speed, security and search basics checked
- What moving it onto my hosting involves, in writing
Working with an agency?: An extra pair of hands,
under your name or mine.
Busy quarter or a build that needs finishing? I'll slot into your team by the day, work your way, and keep your client relationship exactly where it is.
Working with agencies- White-label builds and SEO
- By the day, £400
- Your process, your tools, your Slack
The domain stays yours.
The looking after is mine.
Websites and SEO for your trade: Who I
build for.
Some trades need the same website as everybody else. These ones do not, and each has a page about what is different.
