The job
Most local SEO packages are sold as a monthly retainer, and most of the work is not monthly. Claiming a Google Business Profile, fixing your details everywhere they appear wrong, and getting the pages right are jobs you do once and then maintain.
So this is priced as the job it is, which is why there are no local SEO packages here to choose between. A fixed price, done properly, and afterwards you keep it going yourself or a monthly plan does. Nobody should be billed every month for a profile that was finished in week two.
Local SEO for small business: what's included: The whole list, nothing extra.
Every one of these is in the price. If a job needs something that is not here, it is in the written scope before you say yes, not on the invoice after.
Your Google Business Profile
Claimed, verified, filled in properly, and the categories chosen rather than guessed. This is the single biggest thing that decides whether you appear in the map.
The same details everywhere
Your name, address and phone number are wrong in more places than you think, and local search notices the disagreement. Found and fixed, with the list handed over.
Pages that name where you work
Real pages about the places you actually serve, written to be read. Not a town name swapped into the same paragraph forty times, which is the thing Google calls a doorway page and removes.
Reviews, asked for properly
A way of asking that gets answered, and a way of replying that does not sound automated. Reviews are the part of local SEO you cannot buy: no incentives, which breaks Google guidelines and can lose you the profile.
What a local search actually shows
Who appears today for the searches you care about, where you sit, and what the ones above you are doing that you are not.
Measured, and handed over
Profile views, calls and direction requests set up so you can see them, and written down so it is yours whether I stay involved or not.
What gets crawled
Your site crawled the way a search engine sees it, not the way it looks in a browser: what Google can reach, what it is ignoring, and why.
What gets measured
Core Web Vitals measured on your own pages, with your real content, rather than on a sample page built to score well.
What you get, in order
The findings written down in the order worth doing, so the first thing on the list is the thing that changes most.
The call
A walk through the findings, so you know what each one means before deciding whether any of it is worth paying for.
What gets fixed first
Whatever is stopping pages being found at all comes before anything that improves a page already working. A closed sign beats a slow page.
What happens next
The list is yours either way. Plenty of people take it away and do the work themselves, and it is not a lock-in.
The quick check
Quick check, £400. One day, the whole site crawled, and a written answer to what is reachable, what is ignored and why.
The full audit
Full technical audit, £1,200. For thousands of pages, a shop, or a migration behind you, where a day is not enough to be sure.
Keyword research
The keyword list from £150: the phrases, what they are searched, how hard they are and what the searcher actually wants.
Monthly, and the hours
From £150 a month, with the hours written on the plan, so what you are buying is a number of hours rather than a promise.
What is quoted separately
A migration, a rebuild, or writing the pages themselves. Those are their own jobs with their own prices, not absorbed into a retainer.
No ranking promises
Nobody can promise a position, and anybody who does is selling you the one thing they cannot deliver.
The first month
Setting up and finding out: access to Search Console and analytics, the site crawled and measured, and an ordered list of what is holding it back. The quickest fixes get made that month.
Months two and three
The list, worked through in order, with the hours on the plan. What changed is in the note at the end of each month. Search Console rarely shows much before week six.
What Search Console shows
Impressions before clicks, and clicks before anything that looks like a position. It is the only free record of what Google actually did with your pages.
What takes longest
A new site has no history, so it starts from nothing however good it is. That is the part nobody can shorten by paying more.
What I report
What was looked at, what was changed and how many hours went on it, next to the invoice. The same note the care plans get.
When to stop paying
When the fixes are done and nothing on the list needs an expert, a monthly plan stops being worth it, and I will say so rather than keep invoicing.

This is for you
Local SEO: is it for you?: Local SEO is for you
if any of these sound familiar.
- People buy in person, or you travel
- You are not in the map results and cannot see why
- Your details differ across three sites
- Somebody else set up your Google profile
It is not, if
- You sell nationally, place is irrelevant
- You want reviews written for you
- You want a retainer for a one-off job
Not sure which side you are on? Say so on the call. If I am not the right person, you get the name of someone who is.
What local SEO costs
Bought once,
not billed forever.
You should not have to sit through a call to find out whether you can afford me.
Local SEO setup price: One price,
bought once.
3 days at £400 a day, and no VAT is charged. Keeping it going afterwards is a monthly plan or it is yours to run, and neither is bought here.
Local SEO questions: Questions I get every time.
The honest answers. If yours is not here, it is the first thing we cover.
Ask me yours01 Do you do a local SEO audit?
Yes, as the first part of the setup rather than a separate product: the Business Profile, the citations that disagree with each other, and what the map pack currently shows for your own searches. If you want an audit of the whole site instead, that is the SEO audit.
02 Local SEO for multiple locations?
Yes, and it changes the shape of the work: each location needs its own profile, its own page and its own consistent details, or they compete with each other. Priced per location after the first, because that is genuinely how much more work it is.
03 What do local SEO services actually include?
Claiming and filling in your Google Business Profile, fixing your name, address and phone number everywhere they appear wrong, writing real pages about the places you serve, setting up a way of asking for reviews that gets answered, and showing you what a local search returns today. £1,200, 3 days of work, fixed.
04 Why is this not a monthly plan?
Because most of it is not monthly. A profile is claimed once. Wrong listings are corrected once. Pages are written once. Charging every month for that is charging for work that has stopped. Most local SEO packages bill for it anyway. Once it is set up, keeping it going is a genuine monthly job and there is a monthly SEO plan for it.
05 How long before it shows up?
Profile changes can show within days, which is unusually fast for anything in search. Listings and pages take longer, usually weeks rather than months. Nobody selling local SEO services near me, or anywhere else, can promise a position, and anybody who does is telling you something they cannot know.
06 Do we need a page for every town?
No, and doing it is a good way to get removed from search. Google calls near-identical pages made for each location doorway pages and says so in its own documentation. A page earns its place when there is something true and specific to say about working there.
07 Can you get us more reviews?
I can set up a way of asking that people actually answer, and help with replying. I will not write them, buy them, or offer anything in exchange, all of which break Google guidelines and can cost you the profile rather than improve it.
08 What if somebody else set up our profile?
That is common and it is recoverable. Google has a process for claiming a profile somebody else holds, it takes a little while, and it is part of the job rather than an extra.
09 What happens afterwards?
It is yours. Keeping it going is optional: monthly SEO starts at £150 a month and covers the ongoing half, or you run it from the written handover.
10 How do we pay?
One of two ways, and the written scope says which. A build is a deposit, paid by card when you agree the scope, which starts the work, then the balance when it is finished, or monthly by Direct Debit where the price allows. Other work is paid as each stage is accepted. No VAT is charged.
Usually goes with: Local SEO
and website redesign.
Being found locally puts people on your website, which is where they decide. A profile that works and a site that does not is a lot of effort spent delivering somebody to a bad first impression.
